Does Satan Really Exist?

I know this is a loaded question which will spark a lot of debate and controversy. However my goal is to open a dialog leading to true understanding. The title is actually a two part question because most will automatically reply YES! as Satan was originally an angel cast out from heaven. This opens the second part of the question- Is the Bible the true word of God??
Before you respond I ask you look over all the information provided and then answer the questions.
The Most Feared Bible
In 1557, while in exile in geneva, Switzerland, a then unknown Clergyman, John calvin, assisted by a handful of Englishmen who had fled the persecution of Bloody mary, undertook to translate the complete Bible. This made Calvin's Bible the first complete Bible to be translated into English from the original Hebrew and Greek texts. Calvin and his associates did far more than a translation. Their edition contained thousands of marginal notes. Because words and phrases quite often had several meanngs the marginal explanations were meant to remove all doubt from the mind of the reader. This version has been out of print since 1644
Enter King James
In 1644 Calvin's Bible was repalced by the King James version because the state needed a Bible that more compliant toit's agenda.
King James was a devout believer in the 'divine right of kings'. Among his many other faults, he preferred young boys to adult women. james enjoyed killing animals. He called it hunting. Once he killed an animal he would literally roll about in it's blood. Some historians claim he practiced beastiality while the animals layed dying. James was a sadist and a sodomite. He enjoyed torturing people. He was all these things and much ,much more.
Knowing what King James was we can easily discern his motives. James ascended the English throne in 1603. He wasted no time in ordering a new edition of th Bible in order to deny the common people the marginal notes, and thus the real meaning of many Biblical accounts. The doctrines espoused in the marginal notes struck terror into the heart of kings and their servants of the church. So james edited his own version without the marginal notes. The King James version was and is for all time a government publication.

I think satan exist and at the same time do not exists in our mind. before trying to find satan we need to look at our mind which is the breeding ground of satan.

No satan does not exist. Satan means adversary, accuser, slanderer, opposition, to withstand, and many other meanings in english. To Jews, satan is a title not a proper name, and to the original jewish belief of the old testament there was no doctrine of satan. the idea of the existence of devils didn't come about until after the captivities in Babylon and Greece. Not until the new testament do we see reference to the existence of devils. Jesus didn't believe either, but he didnt directly address them as it was his mission to save man. to disprove the existence of satan we must turn to Paul, James, Jeremiah, and David, all who say that the human flesh is wicked above all things and that we accomplish sin on our own through our own temptation.

I believe that that ordinary people that go to church believe in God but not satan. This confuses me when we get protection from God, who is he protectng us from. The fear that bible has installed has been its focus point. I'm from South Africa and when whites people came they held a bible and a loaded gun and then called us "kaffirs" (kaffir is a deregotory term like nigger forn african americans. I watch my black people deny themselves their being because the bible told them so, they do ridiculous things, leave their kids and fly by night churches. I believe satan exists, I believe God exists and they are both inside me, I have to make the choice to choose good as it is one of my greatest strength. We cant look at each other and say just because you are muslim you are better then me and so forth. The content of man is worth moer than what he looks like. We all come from the same source, we bleed the same. Live your life for happiness and those around you and I assure you will be trully blessed.
things about God, Satan are very much confusing most especially wen you try to research and find out more about them but what i think would be better for me and other people like me is that just try to do what u think is right and life will go on ada wize you might kill ur self trying to find out about them......
